My son is 3 years old, he will be 4 in January. I wanted to buy him long/high socks for winter and for boots. When I ordered them it was not specified what 4-6x means. I thought 4-6 years would be the age because they are labeled for toddlers. But when I got the socks in the mail, they were kids sizes 4-6. My son is a size 10 for kindergarten so I'm disappointed that the socks are too big :(
