OVERVIEW The Meike 25mm T2.2 is a tough, compact cinema lens. It is ideal for narrative and documentary filmmakers shooting with M-43 cameras such as the Panasonic GH5/s or Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. Compare to Veydra lenses which cost at least twice as much if you can even find them. PROS: IMAGE: - Very, very sharp - Virtually no color cast, excellent contrast - Smooth, round bokeh - Focus barely breathes - Focus markings are accurate, down to 10 inches - Very little flare or blur. CONSTRUCTION: - All metal - 0.8 pitch gears - Good smooth focusing and aperture control - Very long focus travel (200º) ideal for precise focusing - Focus distance and aperture markings on both sides of the lens CONS: - Above average chromatic aberrations (purple fringing) GOOD TO WOULD HAVE: - Caption markers - Fluorescent markers - More focal lengths for a full set (50mm, 85mm, etc.)
