My TV hangs very close to the wall, just an inch away. 2 of my HDMI ports are on the side, which is great, but the other 2 were all the way in the back and the cable wouldn't plug in without the TV being crooked. These adapters worked great as they allow me to connect two other HDMI cables and still keep the TV flush with the wall. Of course, one has to go up and the other down, but the cables are straight and it works great! I highly recommend them if you are in the same situation as me.
