Review on Premium Watercolor Paper Heavyweight Acrylics Pens Pencils Sketchbook Art by Shantel Griffin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like this paper in the Art, Painting & Art Supplies category

I used this watercolor paper and it holds up great. I tape it to the board and let it dry before removing the tape. At first he will want to curl up. After 48 hours I press the paper in a pad with a light load for a few days to flatten the images/paper. Too much "watercolor" paper will curl too much and break when wet. It's stronger. I'm used to oil and acrylic paints on canvas. Watercolor is new to me and drawing on paper is new to me so I'm sure there are better papers out there but I'm happy with this one. I bought another paper that claimed to weigh 140 pounds, archival watercolor paper, that didn't work at all. I gave it 3 stars just for the thickness because it's not too thick compared to high quality watercolor paper, but it's thick enough and strong enough that 3 stars isn't a negative. I also only gave 3 stars for warmth because it's not super warm, it's white. The warm paper has a yellow or sepia tint, which some people like, but I didn't want it. This paper is pure white, just what I wanted. If we were talking about an all white look and not warmth, there would be more stars.
