Much better than the cute muslin diapers
They are the same weight as the hospital diapers. When we got home we only had the more fashionable muslin shells with cute patterns which seem to be the only ones sold in stores. Our son immediately crawled out of them like we wrapped him in tissue paper, so I ordered them home the first day or two. They were the only thing holding him back. They may seem stiff at first, but as they are used in hospitals for the most delicate of newborns, that's fine. In addition, they become softer with washing.
