Review on πŸ”’ Chrome Paddle Deadbolt Entry Door Lock for RV Travel Trailers by Chris Sandridge

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Weak, weak keys!

Changed the lock yesterday before leaving. Everything worked great. Parked in new RV location and open for installation. The lock works great. Get ready for dinner and it was a bit gooey. Pull out the graphite grease and press the latch several times. Works perfectly. I come back from lunch and the key is so weak it breaks in the lock. Luckily we were able to access hatches and grab a pair of pliers. Turn the rest of the key in the lock and get into the camper. Take one of the extra keys sent with this item and pray it doesn't happen again. The lock itself is fine. Key? Weak! Weak! I put the old lock back in place.

Pros
  • Fits most campervan doors (most commonly used lock), please check dimensions - Complete with fittings, hasps and screws
Cons
  • Small parts
