Fits my MacBook Air 2015!

I bought this along with an adapter from Sintech to work with my Macbook Air. Yes, these regular nvme SSDs will work in a MacBook as long as the year is correct. My original SSD had a write speed of 900MB/s and a read speed of 1300MB/s. This new SSD gives me about 1300 writes and reads. I didn't buy this SSD because it was very fast. My MacBook is older and based on the forums I've read I've decided it's not worth buying a super fast SSD as I can't take advantage of the high speeds. I'm not even using the max speed of this SSD so I saved a lot of money. I needed extra storage space so this was perfect. You get a lot of value out of it. Be sure to create a bootable USB drive for reinstalling Mac OS if you buy one. Boot while holding option and you should be able to see your bootable usb drive and then you get into disk utility and you need to format the new drive and then you can install mac os. My Mac recognized the drive as soon as I formatted it. recovery does not work. I've seen others buy these adapters for disk cloning, but it doesn't seem necessary to me. Just back up your Mac to Time Machine and after you start your Mac you can restore it. The link to the adapter is below if you are interested. If you only do basic things on your computer, everything is fine.
