It makes the Massage feel so good! I wouldn't call it a vanilla scent. It's more like tree sap/overwhelming maple. So be careful, I bought this because I LOVE the smell of vanilla and wanted to smell like freaking Christmas cookies. But I smelled more like almond extract than anything else. It says it's edible but the thing is you're still licking your skin and bro it just tastes like almond butter and it's not the vibe I wanted. But I like to rub it in and it doesn't sting my sensitive skin, hence the three stars!
