Review on 🌬️ Dorman 926-818 Air Conditioning Compressor Flow Sensor for Lexus and Toyota Models - OE FIX by Isaac Tutt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A/C working again with a 10 minute/$30 fix!

I learned from You Tube that the air conditioning compressors of some cars like Toyota, Subaru etc... have no clutch. Unlike traditional superchargers, which have a port to engage the clutch, these "new" superchargers have two sensors instead; This often fails and can be replaced in 5 minutes without draining the system. My compressor wasn't cooling even though the freon charge was fine. I didn't know if this sensor was the problem, but this sensor seems to fail more often, so for $30 it's worth a try. Bingo! My air conditioner is working again! Very cool :)

Pros
  • Economic solution - this sensor allows you to replace only the failed component without the cost of replacing the entire air conditioning compressor
Cons
  • Some minor things
