Review on Edifier X5 wireless headphones, white by Danuta Borowska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

The headphones are great for the price, however I'm not sure if the weak point is the base or a particularly annoying aspect (like a fly in the ointment). The equalization will help if the sound is distorted or otherwise off. Advantages that vary The quality of the headphones is surprising given their low cost. The sound quality is excellent for the intended purpose, being robust, bassy, and juicy yet lacking in the bass and treble departments. The quality of the microphone is around par, but otherwise it's fine. Even though the price is comparable and the sound is similar (with the exception of the slightly different form factor), I believe the Edifier will sound better overall for the money. I previously owned the Haylou GT1 Pro, QCY T8/QY19. The scenery was beautiful. The cost is quite reasonable. Distinct drawbacks: The headphones' reliance on the base was one of my biggest complaints about them; without the base, you can't do things like turn them off or change their settings; and if something goes wrong, like when mine went dead but still charged, it was because the base's battery had died or the base's power had been disrupted, even though the headphones were fully charged. I plugged in the power cord and set the headphones into the dock. Also, Bluetooth does not always turn off automatically on the base when charging the headphones. That there isn't an AAC codec is a minor gripe.
