We needed an extra charger for the Switch so we didn't have to disconnect it from the dock every time we took it somewhere. As others have pointed out, it seems so ridiculous that the same device can cost so much more despite all the same specs and features. I am impressed that this unit has so many safety features and can handle international voltages up to 240V. If we ever need to take it abroad, it would be great to have it available. But I can only say good things about his current performance. It charges the Switch just as quickly (although I think it was a bit faster) than the OEM charger, and just for testing, we swapped out the OEM charger on the dock for a couple of days and didn't notice any difference in speed. loading or playing. I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but apparently this charger can also charge traditional devices that only require 5 volts but use a USB Type-C connector. Perhaps the manufacturer can confirm this, but judging by the characteristics and the sticker, it is. Anyway, it seems like a bonus at the moment.
