Review on 📐 DigiPas DWL1500XY Precision Bluetooth 2-Axis Level by Shane Popo

I bought the 1500xy to align tool changers and shuttle systems for VTC and HBM machining centers. Overall, I found the level and accompanying app easy to use and fairly intuitive. The level is not calibrated. Took it to a precision granite square and put it through the calibration process. The fill level is now read out and repeated within reasonable limits. I checked the four pads on the bottom for flatness. It was barely visible where the spirit level touched the blued surface of the slab. There was only a thin line of contact on the outer edge of each pad. This is not good for fine leveling anything other than perhaps finely sanded surfaces. I polished the underside of the spirit level for better surface to surface contact and recalibrated it. The spirit level is equipped with an LED display that only shows degrees and only shows one axis at a time. You must have an app to see X and Y at the same time. The application also allows degrees, mm/m or inches/ft to be displayed. This function should actually be available without an app. For my applications, I find the bubble layer of applications to be the most useful. I've only used the layer twice so far and haven't encountered any performance issues with the layer or applications.
