This is my second Occiam bluetooth headset, before that I bought a T17 TWS (which I still use and have no problems with) and I'm not disappointed . With 2 great products I now have a hard time deciding which pair to use when going for long runs (LOL!). First of all, I have to say that I was very impressed with the quality of the charging case. It's well made and even has a USB output as shown in my attached photo. It comes with extra ear tips so they can be swapped out at will if the ones attached are not optimal for the shape and size of the user's ear. The enclosed instructions are detailed, clear and understandable. The charging time is very fast and the earbuds hold a charge for a very long time. However, you must remove the plastic strip from the charging port on the earbud before charging. I mainly use these headphones to listen to music on my iPod and after almost 4 hours of continuous play with 1 headphone I only lost 20%. The earphone is very light and sits comfortably in the ear as if nothing were there. there. The sound is crystal clear and I have to say it's an improvement over the T17 TWS which is clear on its own but has a bit more guts. I love the fact that you can see the charging progress without opening the case. It pairs fairly easily with all the devices I've tried it on, and one thing that surprised me was that after unplugging it from my iPod, it automatically resumed playing when I plugged it back in. Unfortunately, I haven't had this experience with other brands I've used and I've actually tried many brands prior to Occiam. I love that it's compatible with wireless charging, which is a welcome feature as you get the flexibility of wired charging. I haven't had a chance to test this yet, but will do so elsewhere and update accordingly. The signal transmission distance is long. I walked 14 meters and around the corner from my device and the connection was still clear. This is very impressive to me as the manual recommends staying within 10 meters of your device. The single channel feature is a very handy feature and how to do it is detailed. I like it a lot because you can connect 2 devices independently. So essentially, you can share your handset with one other person and both people can use it independently at the same time. So I can listen to music with one earphone and make calls with the other. I used to use 1 headphone from 2 different Bluetooth headphones. This helps a lot when I go for a run as I just plug one earbud into my iPod and one into my phone. And of course you get a call notification and with a single tap I can answer or reject the call by holding the button for a few seconds. And if I accidentally press the wrong phone, my music will pause. All I have to do to continue is just put it down and continue my music without missing a beat. This feature really simplifies the process without worrying about pausing to restore directly to devices (LOL!). And the return is pretty easy as stated in the instructions. It's pretty neat and pretty comfortable. The volume can be easily adjusted on the earphone itself. Just double click the right earbud to increase the volume and do the same for the left earbud to decrease the volume. You can also play the previous track by holding the left earbud and skip forward by doing the same with the right one. You can also pause and restart a track with one click in the same way. Everything works perfectly. I am very happy with this purchase so I can recommend this product as a must have especially for sports lovers because you don't have to worry about the headgear being affected by wetness, be it sweat or rain or you if your battery is drained during your activity. You can rest assured that these circumstances will not pose a problem. Thanks to Occiam for another great product.
