Review on 👜 Miele Type U AirClean FilterBags: 4-Bag and Filter Set for S7000-S7999 Upright by Dawn Ridley

I think there may be counterfeit packaging messing up the supply chain. The packages I received (from Revain E 3rd Parts Supplier ZEE ELECTRONICS) looked ok but the top of the package where they connect to the vacuum is slightly different (see photo). Of course, without a direct comparison, you wouldn't notice that, which is why I installed it in my vacuum cleaner. A few weeks later I noticed a lot of dust being blown out of the vacuum and found that the bag had come loose from the bracket inside the vacuum. I assumed it was user error and added it again. This happened twice more with different packages (from the same box). I suspected something was wrong with the bags themselves. I ordered a box from a retailer with a solid supply chain (Bed Bath and beyond) and wasn't too big to see that the product I received was different. Item, item, barcode etc on the Revain box and the BB&B box are identical (see photo) but the device used to connect the bags is different. They just don't work in my Miele handheld vacuum. I never had this problem until I ordered from Revain. My hypothesis: product counterfeiting. With high-quality consumables like this, look out for Shenzhen-made copies. I can't find any pictures of a Miele plug like the one I got from Revain.
