My son's behavioral therapist recommended using some hourglasses to help my son visualize his cool down time instead of just telling him you have 5 minutes to have. I went at 5 and 15 with what I consider to be a spirited stubborn child, sometimes it just takes more than 5. My first impression upon opening the box was WOW, these are solid Big Timers! My son actually saw it and immediately wanted to play with it. I honestly think they would be great for classrooms or even kindergartens because of the size. I actually used a stopwatch to verify accuracy and I only had about 3 seconds of discrepancy (more than less), nothing major I wanted to be sure of. I might consider buying some extras as gifts for my sons, therapists or teachers. In the picture I have contrasted a small timer that I received from the target with this.
