I use my basement as an office and it only has one vent so it gets a bit chilly in winter. When the rest of the house is 70+, the basement is around 60. I usually buy a new heater every year because the ones I usually get are junk, although I buy the most expensive ones from the local 'market'. Usually the ones I get help a bit and get me to about 65. I set the Dr to 70 and it pretty much stays at 70. I've tried. I've only been using it for a few weeks but I'm definitely impressed and hope to use it for more than a year.
