At first I had trouble operating this device. I was charged $46 to speak to a tech support rep named "Pradeep" after contacting 3 other people from the helpdesk. I implemented the suggested solution. At first it didn't solve my problem. And I couldn't get Pradeep to answer multiple requests. Eventually I just turned off the chat and continued through trial and error until the hardware worked. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you're considering buying this device, you might want to reconsider your decision. I haven't scanned many slides or negatives. So I can't vouch for the quality of the output as the first try didn't give very good results, but it was an old film so might not have been the best quality.
