Review on πŸ”§ Premium T1A Tailgate Handle Replacement for Toyota Tundra 2000 - 2006: Enhanced Durability and Easy Installation by Jay Kenville

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice and efficient replacement.

This hasn't happened to my Tundra for a long time, but so far it seems like a good and effective replacement. I've taken note of what others have said and am trying to use the product closer to the right side of the handle. It's definitely way better than the grip on my truck. The handle was stuck and difficult to open. Considering the price of this pen and the mostly good reviews, I decided to give this one a try. No problem, as always, but then again; I've only had him for a few weeks. The real test will now be in the summer when I will need to use it more often as we like to hike and I need to load and unload a few things from the truck. I will then review and update my review. The only problem I had during installation was the rubber seal kept coming loose. I had to use a small screwdriver to really push down on the pins holding the gasket in place. Once I was able to hold the seal on the product it was easy to install. I don't know if anyone else had this problem or if it was just me. As I said, I was able to get it to work, so I have to return the product. The gasket looks like it's nice and tight there when I tightened the screws on the handle.
