I was fed up with cables under my desk and needed something that was convenient for me to quickly plug and unplug devices. Easy to install as it has a part that protrudes at the top and bottom for easy assembly. Just drill a small hole in the table and screw this baby on. What I also like is that it has a switch if you need to turn the device on and off (some of the similar looking outlets didn't have a switch). USB ports are also great when you just need to power something without taking up space in your outlet. The socket quality seems pretty solid and should work for a while. The cable length is also another advantage at 10 feet. So you can place it quite far away from the socket. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and I'm sure you are too.
