Pretty lights but remote doesn't work

These are really pretty. However, the remote doesn't work and now the lights are stuck on this chaotic blinking setting and theres no way to change it. I see others having problems with the remote so I would steer clear of these because it seems to be a consistent issue and the lights become useless without it.

My sister had this set on her tree and I loved it so much I had to get it. I love how you can change the brightness as well as the different color options-its nice to be able to have white lights or rainbow colored lights with the same strand of lights-it’s the best of both worlds!
