The case itself absorbs everything. The rear transparent part is THICK. The body protrudes over the camera, which is great as the camera protrudes and gets in the way. The side buttons are still easy to press. Never had trouble connecting anything and doesn't block the audio. *NOTE* Although all chargers on the back work fine. I haven't found any that won't load. That was my main problem when buying. The only downside is that the screen you attach to it leaves a small gap between it and the side case. However, the screen absorbed the damage (hit the corner of a metal bar). The protective film is slightly torn, but the screen itself is not damaged. Still worth every penny.
