If I could give this a 0 I would. I really, really, really wanted to love this product. On arrival everything was as described. All the pieces came in the box, it was easy to put together and the lights were amazingly bright and colorful. Not to mention endless light combinations with a remote control. The tape on the back of the lightstrip seemed fine but was easily repaired. HOWEVER - only a few days after use the light started to flicker. We turned it off and on again and the issue was temporarily resolved. When I turned it on the next morning, I accidentally noticed smoke! The light bar smoked IN MY HOUSE! This could start a fire very easily and quickly and God knows what damage to my home and family. We bought these lights for our aquarium. They have NOT been submerged in water or wet. Although these lights are waterproof I didn't want to take that risk and just used them around the gas cap instead. could happen. DO NOT USE THESE LIGHTS!
