I only bought this product again this year after trying other types of disguises that didn't work, I tried something new again. Patience, I don't have a cat or dog, but the neighbors' cats used my garden as a litter box. Eventually after spraying once a week on the fence they climbed and the area they used they stopped coming so all I can say is be patient it works. but this year a new cat walked in next door and made it into my pristine unused garden so I bought another bottle and expect in a few weeks she will shoo him away too. Of course, there will be a smell of cinnamon and garlic for a few days, but the human smell will disappear, and cats can't stand it. To attempt. this worked for me, i have a quarter acre and it keeps the cats away.
