Very pleased with the purchase of this gauge. As an electronics engineer I have used clamp meters before and regularly use Fluke meters which are many times more expensive than this one. DC amps are structurally difficult to measure accurately with clamps (especially at this price point). I checked the current measurement and found it to be around +/- 1%. Not bad for $60! It is important to use the delta function when measuring DC amperes. The temperature sensor didn't work well out of the box, but that's not what I bought the device for. I have several types of thermocouples that work well with this, so that wasn't a problem. My only regret is that I didn't purchase it sooner to fix the bad battery clip issues on my boat. Ideal for checking charge/discharge and cranking current and AC faults.
