I was really hoping to get my faucet right. I read all these good reviews and of course I thought! I will take it. I followed all the instructions and welded the sheet metal. I only put half a leaf in it because it's a 5 gallon tank. It turned the tank that horribly dark urine color. My beautiful fish looked dark and raw. and blues. A few days later I felt bad about contacting him. He seemed afraid of it and didn't want to approach it. It was harder to see in the muddy water, but he began to develop an ulcer on his back. I tested the water and the PH was WAAAAY off. I removed my tap, took out the sheet and corrected the PH. After putting him back in I gave him fish medicine for 7 days and after 4 days he was like a new fish again. Since I removed the leaf it will sink back to the bottom of the tank enjoying its plants. Moss balls and his house. I deeply regret hurting him with this stupid hand. He's fine, but don't worry about the leaves.
