Description of SunGrow Indian Almond Leaves for Betta: Ideal for Play, Hideouts, and Overall Development - 8 Inches Long, Easy-to-Use - Pack of 10 Leaves

✔ INDUCE BREEDING --- SunGrow Betta Leaves are a must-have for taking care of Betta fish. They act as a shelter to betta and assist them in spawning. Our leaves also help their skin and scales stay hard and still, smooth and slippery at the same time. ✔ STRESS RELIEVER --- Bettas have been known to display improved behavior when SunGrow Betta Leaves are introduced to the tank. Because the leaves create an environment similar to their native habitat, your fish will start interacting with the leaves within the day they are introduced. ✔ FOR PLAYING AND HIDING --- Small shrimps, fry and fishes enjoy swimming through and hiding in the Cholla Wood to feel secure. ✔ FOR OVERALL DEVELOPMENT --- After introducing the SunGrow Betta Leaves, you will notice your tank water changing color to tea color. These miracle leaves contain beneficial elements. Remove the leaves only when they start to disintegrate. ✔ EASY TO USE --- Just drop a few leaves into your tank. Bettas will start nibbling on the leaves, using them for cover or may even lay eggs on the leaves. PREPARATION: Before placing the product in the aquarium, rinse before use, even after boiling or soaking. A "post-boil soak" in fresh water is a recommended step, too.

Excellent purchase. My bettas and snails love them.

These fighting fish blades are great. They are large so I only used a quarter blade for my 3 gallon tank. My Betta fish was immediately fascinated and enthralled by the leaf, looking at it and then resting on it. It seems much livelier since I added the leaf to my tank. I also have two snails in the aquarium, one of which hasn't moved much for several days and I'm very worried. Shortly after adding the leaf to the aquarium, this snail finally emerged from its shell and became active again. I…

These leaves are like magic!

These blades are like magic! I never write reviews but I am so impressed with this product that I can't help but share it. I received the sheets yesterday and they were well connected. I was expecting some damage because the leaves were dry, but they were completely intact. There are insect holes, but we are talking about nature. The best part is that the Mongolian Bif (yes, that's his name) is so lucky. Last night I placed part of the leaf in its formation and this morning I found a pretty…

Huge leaves that stay forever

These leaves are HUGE. I didn't expect them to be that big but I'm very happy with the result. They fit well in my 5 gallon and add a natural look to the aquarium. The slight fin rot on my betta went away within a few days of adding it and he seems to really enjoy swimming around it. They provide him with a more natural habitat and keep him healthy and busy. They swim for several days and then sink naturally. They last for several weeks and I didn't even remove the ones I added a month ago - I…

Excellent natural product

These leaves are large. I have a 10 gallon aquarium with a filter, heater and divider for my male and female bettas (5 gallons each); I put a leaf on a young male I bought as a child and a day later the water turned a natural tea color. Both of my males seemed very active and happy, they used to be healthy but after the leaf was put in they seemed even more active. Then I cut off half and stick it on the female. The only downside, if you can call it a downside, is that the male fills the bottom

Zeus loves her! for aquarium water treatment

At first I was a bit skeptical about these leaves. I was concerned because it was mentioned that the water would start changing color. To be honest I was afraid it would be like swamp water. I have a 3 gallon aquarium for my Zeus Fighter. He loves all his plants and his tree trunk in which he likes to sleep. When I received the leaves, they We. GIGANTIC! The packaging says one leaf per 10 liters. Since it was significantly less than 10 I think it's time to put a piece in his aquarium. He…

My water PH was confused and my faucet was afraid of the leaf

I was really hoping to get my faucet right. I read all these good reviews and of course I thought! I will take it. I followed all the instructions and welded the sheet metal. I only put half a leaf in it because it's a 5 gallon tank. It turned the tank that horribly dark urine color. My beautiful fish looked dark and raw. and blues. A few days later I felt bad about contacting him. He seemed afraid of it and didn't want to approach it. It was harder to see in the muddy water, but he began to…

My betta and mystery snail love it!

These catalpa leaves arrived large and in perfect condition! I have a 5.2 gallon aquarium and a half leaf created the perfect blackwater environment for my samurai bantam! Even my mysterious snail Gary seemed to like the leaf and hid under it. I placed it above the foliage in a corner of the tank and it sits like a little rooster hammock for the samurai to sleep in at night. I like the natural look of a darker, lighter water-like tea. It is very mesmerizing and looks much more natural than a…

Good selection of Indian slivered almonds

This review is about large Indian slivered almonds, not mini slivers. They arrive in a flat plastic bag, neatly folded, each sheet is approximately 8 inches long. There was supposed to be 10 in the pack but it turned out to be 12, no complaints. If you are unsure whether to get a small one or a large one I would suggest getting a large one as you can always crop it (cuts as easy as paper) especially if you plan on using it as a one Hammock. to lie down for your bettas or as a cover for a bubble

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
