These are very well designed shaker molds. Maybe a bit heavier and stiffer than some, but still very easy to handle. They close tightly and aren't too difficult to separate after a shake - those are the two most important features for any set in my opinion. The hawthorn screen is beautifully constructed, with an incredibly tight spiral. I'm good at straining most shaken drinks, but I've skipped it on occasion with this hawthorn and can report virtually no ice chips or pulp escaping it. The coil can be easily removed when needed, for cleaning or for use in a cream thickening bottle. The jigger is pretty but not my favorite style. However, it looks good with all the other tools and I use it from time to time.
