Blocks well but mostly blocks everything
I wanted something to block the headlight glare in my side mirrors when driving at night. Although they block light they basically block everything (except very bright light) so I have to position them where I can still see my mirrors well but they definitely help. I've found that they hold up better in cold weather if I keep them folded up in my bag and take them with me instead of keeping them in the car.
