A250 is not enough for 1-1.5 months. It works better with the Legacy 7135 than with the U700. We only use filtered water using A7417 and strictly follow the cleaning schedule. After about a month of use, the A250 stopped filtering the water from the tank well. You have to move it up and down at the source to keep the water flowing for a short time. Then it just stops. If the same filter that stopped the water flow in the U700 is transferred to the Legacy 7135, it will still work for about a month. We are in our second season and it usually takes at least 2-3 U700s to get through the winter season. Neither the Legacy 7135 nor the U700 have the same antimicrobial effectiveness as the older SlantFins. Mold will form on the spring float at the base, trunnions, tank outlet column and any necks with tight corners or tight spaces. The antimicrobial agents in the plastic used to make the tank and base can be much more effective.
