So I think your success with this product will depend largely on what exactly you're trying to deal with: For me, my turntable isn't close enough to my speakers to affect playback. I just needed something to hold it in place when I walk past (I live in an old house with wobbly floors). For this purpose, these pads fit perfectly! I can't jump up and down next to my Pro-Ject, but I can walk past it with normal walking and it doesn't jump. However, keep in mind that I ride a belt-driven Pro-Ject Debut Carbon, which already has pretty good legs. A cheaper direct drive turntable can still have vibration issues, so your mileage may vary. However, for my use case, as the name suggests, they are "breathtakingly effective”.
