It's not the prettiest addition to your kitchen, but it's (to us) very functional. Whether we're doing our laundry or just cleaning up to throw something in the dishwasher, this is a great basket. I love washing dishes in it and the drain is very convenient and easy to use. I love that we can store dirty things in the bin and soak, rinse with water and drain off the floor. Then fill up with hot soapy water or simply place the dishes in the dishwasher. And I love that we can also take it to clean the sink when we urgently need the sink for something else. My husband used to put dishes in both sinks - now he hits the trash can and he doesn't scrape the plates or take the trash out of the dishes - now he does because he doesn't like throwing all the trash in the trash can. and usually he does something with the dishes (washes or puts in the dishwasher) once the bin is full. It's just that my sinks are a lot cleaner now. I love dishes that are prepared immediately. He will wet the glass where he just drank water. what drives me insane Now he doesn't because he sees the trash can and usually rinses his glass so he doesn't throw it in the trash can unnecessarily. It's also easier for me to have a pan. and plum. Wow. What a great feature.
