My 14 month old, 88 pound Black Lab needed foot surgery and needed a way to cover his foot. Size 8 fits him. I took him to kindergarten where he played outside for seven hours. When I picked up his shoe, put on only one shoe, expecting to lose it, he was still on his foot. The boot didn't bother him or slow him down. Very dirty but included. Washes off easily. Put on boots and walked him 2 miles. After getting used to the boots, he pranced with no problem. Very happy with these boots.
