Got three 100 bulbs today. Pre-tested, all 300 light up OK. Supplied with 2 extra bulbs/100 but no extra fuses. Not sure why you need a fuse as the cable is rated for 15 amps. A 15 amp circuit breaker feeding the strings should do the trick. So if they blow, I short the fuses out with aluminum foil, which isn't necessary. I took out all the bulbs as they are glass and I'm not sure I'll be careful not to break them. They are on the outer paving stones around the pool. I'll let you know after they're installed and see the rain on their waterproofing. They don't have stainless steel flares, so it's important to point them down to prevent water from entering the flares. I wouldn't place it directly over the pool but it should be fine near the screen space where they have no way of entering the pool. TO UPDATE. After several heavy rains, 2 out of 200 light bulbs failed. You get 2 extra bulbs per 100 strands so while there are no issues, after replacing all the bulbs are still working and there are still 2 extra ones. I would expect an infant mortality rate of 1% lightbulbs, which is what I've witnessed.
