I just got this amazing camera and I can't get enough of it! For me, the size, which some may find to be a drawback, ended up being a strength. The item fits perfectly in my (female) hand; here I also credit lightness. Well understood menu. Superb image quality, provided the settings are correct, of course. They noted earlier that the battery depletes quickly while filming video. I planned for him to take the test. Obviously, this isn't a video camera, but my copy was able to record 60 minutes of video—six clips of 10 minutes each—before the battery died, even with the highest resolution video recording and a constantly operating autofocus in tracking mode (moving objects were captured). And that's on top of the few dozen pictures. Thus, in my opinion, this is very, very good for a camera with a video recording feature, especially in this price range. Although the autofocus motor's noise can be heard while recording video, it is not at all important for home videos. Moreover, sound recording can be turned off if you do not need sound accompaniment or if you want to overdub another audio track. An good device in terms of "price to quality." Absolutely a good investment. The more I use the camera, the more reviews I'll try to add.
