I bought it because I didn't want to take a special display with me but could use the phone and the application, or at least I thought the bluetooth turns off when the app doesn't always active and the phone is not in sleep mode. Why on earth have you disabled Bluetooth radios? do I need to add more question marks? If you want to cook something in 10 minutes, that's great, but if you want to smoke something for hours, that's just not possible! Again, the idea is great, but the execution is terrible. In addition, the range is far from what is advertised. I'm sure the fine print somewhere says line of sight at 25C, no wind, no other antenna etc at 250 miles etc. The reality is that we (most of us) live in high rise buildings and/or apartments with lots of other bluetooth -Devices. Stick with what you already have until they fix the poor implementation and poor range issues! I'm about to cancel my gym membership as I get more than enough exercise pacing back and forth to reactivate the bluetooth radio and therefore visually check the temperature on the device during my 10 hour smoke.
