I bought this when I switched to induction because my current Bialetti stopped working. The device is actually very good, but has a fatal design flaw. The top flap is inclined towards the black handle, where there is a small hole. After the coffee starts seeping into the top, the steam condenses and exits around the corner through the handle. Every time I use it I end up with a little puddle of coffee on the stovetop and the handle is too hot to touch. It would be easy to design the valve to allow the condensate to flow back into the reservoir, but that is not the case. Another tip: If you buy Bialetti, buy a few pads as well. Most of the units I've owned don't list a model number, and Bialetti's customer service is slow and often unhelpful. Gaskets have very small graduations, often 1/16 or 1/32 inch, so an accurate press fit is important.
