Great coffee maker but use rubber gloves to put on, no pen

I have at least 3 Bialetti. My husband is from Spain where this type of coffee maker is often used. That's the only thing I didn't do in Italy. Mine was made in China. The handle design is terrible. If you tighten the handle, it will break in no time. I'm dressing and undressing with rubber dishwashing gloves on my body and so far it's working. Other than that, the construction is good and the lack of edges (like the old style of this type of coffee maker) makes it easy to clean. I use a Bosch…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Pretty good

I have a Bialetti espresso maker for 6 and 10 cups. Pour water into the lower chamber up to the safety valve shown. Attach the funnel and add the desired amount of coffee. Press it lightly. Unscrew the top chamber and place on an induction hob over medium-high heat. I would suggest that if it is an electric or gas range then a medium low value would work. The coffee maker takes about 6 minutes for my six cup coffee maker and 12 minutes for my ten cup coffee maker. Cup 6 was made in India and…

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • I have doubts

Design flaw - leaks through the handle

I bought this when I switched to induction because my current Bialetti stopped working. The device is actually very good, but has a fatal design flaw. The top flap is inclined towards the black handle, where there is a small hole. After the coffee starts seeping into the top, the steam condenses and exits around the corner through the handle. Every time I use it I end up with a little puddle of coffee on the stovetop and the handle is too hot to touch. It would be easy to design the valve to…
