I have a Bialetti espresso maker for 6 and 10 cups. Pour water into the lower chamber up to the safety valve shown. Attach the funnel and add the desired amount of coffee. Press it lightly. Unscrew the top chamber and place on an induction hob over medium-high heat. I would suggest that if it is an electric or gas range then a medium low value would work. I bought this when I switched to induction because my current Bialetti stopped working. The device is actually very good, but has a fatal design flaw. The top flap is inclined towards the black handle, where there is a small hole. After the coffee starts seeping into the top, the steam condenses and exits around the corner through the handle.
