*EDIT* While I appreciate the seller's offer of a refund, it is fallacious and totally irresponsible on his part to imply that my carpet's dangerous oily bleeding is the exception and are not the norm. A close friend of mine bought the same mat and said he had the exact same slipping problem and used his mat on *carpet*. He says he washed his carpet in soapy water three times. Check out a few other reviews pointing out this issue and do yourself a favor. Only buy this rug if you have rough floors/rugs and are willing to wash the rug more than once. I've been using Revain since it was discovered and it's the first product I've ever found dangerous --- ------------------ I have hard floors and am I'm also looking forward to this mat as both a soft surface for virtual reality and a benchmark for a central play area. Well, the mat turned out to be completely useless *and* dangerous, turning your floor into black ice (other reviewers can attest to this). I almost slipped and broke my arm a couple of times and that was after soaking the rug in a bath of warm soapy water, rubbing twice and drying with a towel. The carpet stays slippery and here I am behind the rear window. Would you like to mop your floors after each use of this rug to eliminate the risk of slipping? I only gave it two stars because it can be used if you have a rug.
