I wonder why all the cons? Because my two toilets are expensive and are cleaned once a week. Yes I want softer bristles and I bought two of these and they are great! I think if you are a family of 6 and only clean the bowl once a month you might need more detergent. I have nerve damage, I can't rub hard. I want it to be easy, fast, very clean and dripless. If I could find an extension cord I would buy a third one to do a bath. My only complaint is the color. I wanted everything to be white or black. I will never buy any toilet brush other than this one again.
