This is the third or fourth unit of this type that I have bought from Revain (all from other manufacturers) and so far it is the best. One of the others used AAA batteries and wasn't powerful enough to mix thoroughly. Others had stirrers that bent too easily, causing the device to wobble. An attempt to straighten the bar was unsuccessful, one even broke when pressed on. The Bean Envy seems to have a more powerful motor than the others, and the stir stick looks a bit thicker and sturdier. Even the fan on the bottom feels heavier and more powerful. All mix jobs we've tried so far have performed much better than anything we've used before - very good results in everything we've tried. It may have an odd name, but it seems like an excellent product! My only nitpick is that you have to use your thumb to activate it, which can be an issue for (my wife's) small, weak hands. Others I've used have an activation switch on the side so they can be activated with your fingers, which is a bit more ergonomic. Minor point - certainly not a deal breaker. Overall performance is top notch; I highly recommend this block.
