Efficient two-channel DVR

This DVR works with an OBD USB-C connector, which is sold separately. Or you can get a wire set to connect to the fuse box. With each of them you can use the parking mode. I highly recommend this setup because you can hide practically all of the wires. Parking mode looks something like this: the camera will automatically turn on to capture a few seconds of video when your car is off. This can be caused by collision detection, motion sensor, or a combination of both. I've found that sometimes rain on the windshield triggers the motion sensor. I only installed collision detection. Opening my car door was enough to cause this, which I think is a good thing if someone breaks into your car and decides not to take the dash cam. The G-sensor can be a bit sensitive. Set to the lowest sensitivity (1 out of 5), even a very small bump in the road will still work. It worked once for a 15 minute drive to the store. However, later I drove longer and it didn't work at all, so I'm not sure how it works. Night vision for the in-cab camera is excellent. It shifts smoothly and everything is fairly sharp and detailed, albeit in black and white. If someone breaks into your car, you can definitely see their face. I have a 1440p front camera and a 1080p 30fps cabin camera. You can set them from 1440 to 720p. If you set it to only use the front camera, you can also set it to 4K. The front and cockpit videos are saved as 2 separate videos, not in PiP mode. 15 minutes of driving in addition to a whole night of video in parking mode (I live on a busy street) occupied 20 GB on the card. I'm not sure if this makes much of a difference since the data will be overwritten by itself. The package includes a GPS mount that sends GPS data (speed, location) to the main unit. You can disable this in the software if you wish. You can also power the device by connecting the USB-C cable directly to the dash cam itself or just to the mount. Attached is a video from the front camera. I would also attach a video from the salon camera, but Revain only allows you to upload 1 video per review. Instead I took a screenshot. Also included are photos of how to neatly route the cable to avoid clutter and how the camera looks from the outside. All in all I think it's a great product, especially for the price. Some things I would like to see in the future: - A motion sensor that isn't affected by rain - Better setup for the G-sensor - Better pan flexibility for the GPS mount. It's definitely enough to grab the front of the car. However, when LEO stops you, I would like to be able to rotate the dash cam towards the side window. Unfortunately, the mount cannot do this.
