Review on πŸ”ͺ Premium Sharpening Whetstone Waterstone in Non-Slip Design with Flattening Capability by Kevin Schnitzer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

400/1000 texture loss after first use.

I was one of the first buyers. They worked well and were certainly well priced. I doubt grain. They appear to be rougher than those advertised, but I'm no expert. I expect the 3000 and 8000 to be extremely smooth and cut more like a regular stone than a decorative stone. One problem I mentioned to the seller was that the B400 and 1000 lost their grit after only 3 knives and the Tebsteens were so hard I couldn't grind them in. So I used this stone to finish and everything seems fine. I think mine is just bad as 3k-8k work fine. But I would expect a thinner edge with a finer grit. However, I have no way of comparing them. The seller offered a replacement, but everything worked out for me, so there are no particular complaints.
