Review on ๐Ÿถ SwimWays Spring Float Paddle Paws Dog Pool Float - Small: Perfect for Dogs up to 65 lbs! by Angela Wash

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Love it - too bad the air valve has been redesigned!

I have both a small and large version for my 55 lb dog; I use it when my dog rides the Salt River near Phoenix, Arizona. I've done this trip twice alone [and my cute dog] with no issues. Depending on how fast the river flows and which stops I start/end, the trip takes between 3 1/2 and 5 hours. I would like to give 5 stars as I really like it and it's working great so far, but they need to redesign the air valve as it's extremely flimsy and difficult to close/secure when the raft is fully inflated. For this reason I bought both the small and the large. My dog swam down the river in the large version but due to quality issues with the air valve I decided to take the small version as a backup in case something happened. I also find it difficult to fold it up with the collapsible feature for easy storage when not in use, but that might be a "user issue" as I'm not mechanically inclined. If the air valve was redesigned I would give it a million stars. The small version is big enough for her to comfortably enjoy the ride - the large version allows me to keep drinks cold so I don't have to carry a cooler. I would also like to note that this is not a "raft" - meaning your dog is not floating in a dry compartment. There will be an inch or two of water where your dog lies, but he will swim with no problem. I don't see this as a problem because my dog is freezing in the Arizona heat.

  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Vulgarity
