You made a happy dog even happier! Thank you swim lanes!

Our German Shepherd LOVES to swim in our pool. Before we bought this dog raft, we bought him regular Swimways rafts (made for humans). Because they don't last that long, we had to buy new ones every few weeks because he used to poke holes in them with his paws. I finally spent the extra money and got this one and am very happy with how durable it is. We've only had it two days but it's been in and out a few times and so far it's holding up well. At first we inflated it fully but it was…

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Very expensive

Dog Raft is a waste of money

I was really excited when I saw this raft for my dog so I bought it last summer. I used it with my golden retriever for maybe 10 minutes shortly after receiving it. She didn't care so I took it out of the pool and only used it last weekend. I got it out of the garage and took it to the lake. I filled it with air and put it aside while I inflated another raft. I noticed that it is flat. I thought maybe I didn't close the air vent all the way. I pumped it back up, made sure the air cap was on…

Faulty item received

When I opened the packaging box for the first time I noticed that the product box was torn at the opening tab and there were several pieces of tape to keep it closed as if it had been opened once . before you send it to me. When inflating, I noticed a slight kink in the spring bar on one side, but I didn't attach much importance to that. When I took it out on the water I noticed it wouldn't hold much weight. This bending of the limit rod would deform the float. The second big problem is the…

  • Consistent test results

It's definitely big enough for your Marmaduke/Clifford

I have a senior lab assistant who is very suspicious and moody. Your young dog will probably get it right. She spent most of her life playing by the lake, but I moved to the city and bought a large swimming pool in my backyard. She's standing on the platform I made for her, panting at me and swimming, but doesn't know how to relax when she's not swimming. I have tried a large yellow paw-shaped inflatable dog raft, but it is too difficult for them to step on and too difficult to put on if you…

  • Handsfree

Love it - too bad the air valve has been redesigned!

I have both a small and large version for my 55 lb dog; I use it when my dog rides the Salt River near Phoenix, Arizona. I've done this trip twice alone [and my cute dog] with no issues. Depending on how fast the river flows and which stops I start/end, the trip takes between 3 1/2 and 5 hours. I would like to give 5 stars as I really like it and it's working great so far, but they need to redesign the air valve as it's extremely flimsy and difficult to close/secure when the raft is fully…

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Vulgarity
