I bought this for my bathtub that had one of those pull out drains. We would have growths and hair clogs because nothing could stop the hair from flushing down the drain. We shower most of the time and don't often have to clog the drain. - It fits well, flush with the bathtub drain. - Doesn't slip. - Gather all the hair. (Long hair and even small things like cat hair and lint.) -Easy to clean. Just scoop out the hair and maybe wash it every time. So quick and easy. - Aside from being easy to clean, there is no silicone to encourage mold growth like other drain preventers. - I don't notice any accumulation of water when taking a shower. Even my thick conditioner is no problem. But I clean it every shower. I've been using it for two weeks in a heavy use bathroom with no signs of rust. I was so impressed I bought a second one for our other bathroom. I looked at all the different ones and was willing to pay for what was just right. But actually this seems to be the most functional and suitable for what I wanted. He does his job very well and unobtrusively.
