Fully Low Zinc Plating
The originally metallic luster zinc coating on this hardware fabric turned powdery and white almost immediately (several days) after outdoor storage, apparently due to exposure to rain. My hands, arms and clothing were covered in powder residue during installation. Compared to a similar hardware cloth that has been used in my garden for years (which did take on a dull gray patina but has never been that crispy/powdery/oxidized), I would rate this brand as an inferior product and regret ordering it. The packaging was excellent and the other general structural properties of the fabric were fine.
