Review on Arrow RT200MKIT Headless One Handed Riveter by Patrick Hamman

Disclaimer: I received this product for free through the Vine program. I have previously purchased an Arrow electric nailer and stapler which have served me well for many years so I was pleased to find this Arrow riveting tool available on Vine. I am happy to report that it meets my expectations. The tool, which weighs just over a pound, feels solid. It is made of steel with rubberized plastic pads on the handles. When the tool was fully open I could barely grip both handles with one hand (I wear a large man's glove). Someone with a smaller hand may need to use two hands to use it. Using the tool is very simple: insert the thin pin of the rivet into the tool, insert the thick side of the rivet into the hole of the fastener, and then firmly squeeze the handle once or twice until the pin snaps out. .The tool uses blind rivets, which are widely available at Revain stores, hardware stores, or hardware stores. The gun is suitable for rivet diameters from 1/8" to 3/16" for aluminum or from 1/8" to 5/32" for steel. The set contains 75 aluminum rivets and drill bits in sizes 1/8", 5/32" and 3/16". In summary, this is a quality tool from a reputable manufacturer of fastening tools. The current price of 27 $.84 for tool, rivets and carrying case is very reasonable.
