I got this for the uniform because all the riggers on duty are black or tan and I wanted a different color for my boots/shirt. So a good quality article, but mainly because of the optics. It doesn't look like a heavy-duty military rigger belt. Although I can't say why. The material of the nylon belt is really good, just like the pictures (durable high quality textile, rich dark blue, not faded). The clasp serves its purpose and looks good. It's a YKK buckle, and YKK does almost all the zippers on your stuff. The material appears to be some type of durable injection molded thermoplastic.
