Very disappointed with the change in material.
I originally bought one of these about 3 years ago and it was great. It was made of a tougher-feeling vinyl (or something like that) and had a leather-grain appearance. It was sturdy and the "skin" was durable. I lost that pad holder on a flight and ordered this one. It is the same shape, size, and is cut in precisely the same way but the material is very different. It's very soft to the touch and flimsy. No more leather grain appearance. It is easily marred and scratched and doesn't feel substantial. Very disappointed.
