I first bought a large pack of 60W 2700K Philips LED bulbs which cost less per bulb than these. The Phillips bulbs worked great on everything except the garage door opener. After inserting them into a garage door opener, it was extremely difficult to open or close the door with the lights on. Phillips lamps were found to produce a ton of RF interference that would block the signal from the remote control unless they were within 10ft of the door opener. I read on another website about many LED bulbs having this problem and they recommended them to solve the problem. I replaced the Phillips bulbs with these and the remote worked again at a reasonable distance. I wouldn't recommend them for the rest of the house simply because there are alternatives that cost less that also seem to work in RF insensitive. Vicinity; but I would definitely recommend that you buy them for your garage door opener.
